1981 Scarab 38

Whats a good price to pay for a 81 scarab 38 with fresh 454 engines and fresh drives? Also has new interior. With a trailer? Anything to watch for on these boats?

Check for moisture in the stringers ,bulk heads and transom

Ive seen prices from the mid twentys to the low fortys. Did you check the BUC guide? Their prices are more in live with what the market will bear than NADA or other books like that. In the 1 year i have had mine I have learned a TON just by listening to others and asking questions about these boats. Mine is a 1980, the motors have about 500 hours on them. The one thing I found was the amount of corrosion in the cooling system. mine is a fresh water boat too. Any pictures of it?
