trim help
 

I have a 1996 26 foot scarab with a bravo drive. The trim button has quit working correctly. It will now raise the drive to the top of trailer position.

On my boat there are no trim limit switches mounted on the gimbal pivot pins. Does anyone know how the limit on these unit are controled?

Hello..
I had thr same problem on an Excalibur.. It turned out to be the trim switch was dirty, (corrosion) Hope this helps.

Hey daveboys,

Did the unit ever limit itself?? Not sure how there could be any limiting without any limit device... I have a single and triple without limit switches and they do the same thing but have since all were purchased... Doubt this helps much but did want to let you know that some are designed to function that way...
