For that old of a boat it won't be worth much without engines or drives. Save your money and buy something that only needs repairs not all the parts. By the time you find all the parts you will have more money into it than it is worth.
|
agreed you will spend 10k per engine if you go with crates. Once you marinize and finish them. They are you gonna spend at least 6k for drive 500-600 on props. and a ton of misc. on rigging and parts. and paint and rewiring ans such. Then you haev to start with the interior. If you could find a pair of take out 454 that could save you some loot.
if you want somethign newer and running and about the same size for less money drop me a line. |
I think you could buy one ready to go and save some money at the same time ...to find everything and rebuild the one your looking at could turn into a money pit......
|
I've seen a few of those late 70's 30 footers in the $10-12K range in lake-ready condition. What you're looking at might be worth $2-3K, and lots of your time and $$ spent working on it instead of enjoying it.

this is a 7 year old thread, but all the statements are true still today. Its worth next to nothing :(
