Mighty nice of you Chris.

This was my dream boat back a couple years when I found it. Really wanted this exact boat. Have had some fun but having little kids really isn't condusive to offshore boating, especially this particular extreme example of an offshore boat. Maybe something with a full cabin and stock engines would work. We'll see. It was sure fun while it lasted. Somebody elses turn.

Yes, there was a bit of hijacking here...but I was the only one to contribute answers to your original question so according to the rulebook I get to spam my boat on here. Haven't you read the rulebook?? :-)

No I havent recieved my OSO welcome to the neighborhood care basket yet and from what I hear the rule book is in it. Maybe I havent posted enough.?

But I would like to see some pics of old race scarabs DAMNIT!!! :p

OK, here are some from my archive. :cool:

First boat is back east.

Second is Satisfaction, now painted BLACK.

Third is what I believe to be the old Revenge but not sure.

First is Popeyes boat which I think turned into Edelbrock boat and then finally was Imperial Palace casino boat which broke apart and is on the bottom of the Pacific in the Catalina channel.

Second pic is cool old pic with a few Scarabs at start of a race.

Third pic is a Scarab with arneson drives from Northern Cal. It may be Howard Arnesons old boat but not sure. It has side by side engines and a huge fuel tank in front of them.
