Scottie, Your project looks awsome. I am in the middle of a project also! I got all the inside stuff done and am using it. It will get new paint this winter and will be almost finished! They are never finished!!!

Could you help me get a windshield like that. I have the exact same boat and want a windshield just like that. I am in the process of doing the same thing to my scarab. Mines an 83 and the only think holding it back is that windshield.
Thanks Eric |
Scott, its looking great. glad to see people keeping the older boats alive, especially the scarabs.

I had a friend of mine design and build it out of aluminum. Its kind of hard to see in the photos but it retained the original shape of the windshield on the bottom, but he was able to curve it around at the top and update it quite a bit. The only down side is the expense- I have about $1700 in just the windshield alone(including paint) If you want his # pm me and I will give it to you.

Pretty damn tired!!! You are right- I have climbed in and out at least 10000 times by now. The fun ones are when the fender is wet and you rack your balls when your foot slips-
? We want pics. We want pics. |

Buy 2 ladders, 1 for each side. How much progress has been made.
