Does being without speakers make me a special needs individual? If so I am a protected group and people should donate $$$$ to my boat.

We have a company in town that does refits on big-rig enclosed trailers(vans) and the stuff they use is 1/2 inch plywood enclosed in fiberglass sheeting. They have tons of left over materiel, stacks of it even. I bought both the floor piece and a big enough piece to do my engine hatch for $40. The name of the company here is called Fibertech- maybe you have something similiar in your area. Hope this helps.
Is this there address? 3808 N. Sullivan Rd., Bldg 31 Spokane, WA 99216 |

Yes- it is only a couple of miles from my house. I have to go over there on Monday to get some more material for the dash- need me to look for you? Only problem is shipping it:eek:

So I spent the day on it- spent about 4 hours driving around trying to get the right waterpump hose, struck out everywhere- after talking to Eddie I think my Air Gap manifold might be the problem( waterpump hose is one inch too short)
So I got the intake valves in, new blowers, the bilge pumps and the new wiring and cables, etc. I am amazed at how time consuming this stuff is- here is some more photos- |

Some more:cool-smiley-011:

So now I have to work on the wiring- anyone got any ideas on replacing the merc harnesses on the trim pumps? Other than the wires being old the original harness is still in good shape, so should I reuse it?
So here's my punch list- Build a new panel under the dash, redo terminal blocks. Wire bilge pumps, fans, trim pumps. Install new battery boxes and fuel tank cover. Install fuel pumps and fuel filters. Change oil pan and oil filter mount. Build a new hatch cover. Install the rest of interior and carpet. Theres a lot more but I'm getting there. Thanks Eddie for all your help!!!:boat: |
Looks good Scott....But you forgot to powdercoat your engine mount brackets:)
