yep . . handled great. i spent the weekend on it just poking around this end of the lake only seen about 56mph with this power but it runs great and i may try some different props this weekend although i prolly wont get much more out of the stock power.

how long really is you scarab without swim platform? I have a 89 formula 35-7 wich really is 35,7 + swim platform = 37.7 feet, twin 454-420 HP running 48 mp/hour... felt toooo slow for what I thought it would go...

the hull length is 32' 9" i measured it the other day for my trailer. advertised hull length is 33' 11" but that is measured along the ark of rubrail from the corner of the transom to the tip of the bow( which means absolutly nothing ) the length of the boat with the platform and all is 35' and a few inches. looks huge in the water for some reason. the stock stripes really drag the length out. the 357 Formula is one of my all time favorite boats. especially the late eighties.

Dave ,, Just saw this thread,,, I had a 86 with 365s and TRS ,,, a very nice boat ,,,, the Bravo drive is a much better setup for this hull,,, with about 425 to 450 hp this is a 66-68mph boat ,,, you will love it ,,, lots of room and just crushes the big water,,,, take your time ,,, fix the rattles and change the paint later,, cams ,, manifolds ,, and carbs ,,, CMI tube exaust and your good to go!!!!
