Wind shield
Does any body know where I can get a windshield or my 1999 38 Scarab,,,,haveing a hard time getting one
|
Re: Wind shield
If it's plexiglass. Try a TAP plastic dealer. Sometimes you can order it made.

Re: Wind shield
Get a Lexan one instead of Plexiglass if your going to make it custom.
|
Acrylic Vs Lexan
Lexan is better than acrylic in the event of a stuff because it won't shatter. However, it scratches easier and goes milky with humidity unless it's coated. If the pieces are not formed you can use Lexan MR (Marr resistant) which solves the problem.

Can your dealer get any other Scarab parts? |
I agree, if you can't get one from Wellcraft, use the mold to make a lexan one. Did mine on my Scarab 1 and the total cost was $900
