Parts Needed for 26' Scarab

1996-98 26' Scarab. My left front plastic scoop blew off, not sure why or when but I think it happened when I did a nose dive into a huge hole coming in Boca Inlet last night. Does anybody know where to get one?

Thanks,
Jay

Jay,

Whats up Neighbor, probably the only place to get that scoop will be Wellcraft.

I've noticed the newer ones don't have the scoops. You might just want totake the other one off and fill the holes if there are any.

Mine are cracked bad. Welcraft was no help when I talked to them. I thought about getting someone to cnc them out of aluminum.

Any call to Wellcraft about a Scarab boat is usually answered with a No, unless it is for their CC fishing boat.

You would think there is some sort of market that Wellcraft would have liked to keep on the Scarabs.

WHEN YOUR 26 SCARAB WAS MADE THEY HAD A PROBLEM WITH THOSE SCOOPS FLYING OFF. They were only held on with caulk. Wellcraft got alot of complaints and they started attaching them with a few screws. You had better find someone to fabricate a scoop, Wellcraft couldn't care less about their Scarab Line then, and they surely dont care now. Thank Irwin Jacobs ( Scarab's are no more)

How much are they worth to you? I've been debating if I want to remove mine and go for the "smooth look".The right price might convince me.

It cant be too hard to make a mold to fabricate some.

If someone wants to look in to getting these or the side ones made. I would pony up to help with the costs.

When I checked it the front ones It was too much money for 1 set. One of my side vents is cracked too, I thought about having the local water jet guy make a set of of flat aluminum, and cut some kind of vent in the side. Not sure how it would look. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the ideas. I'm leaning towards just taking them off for now. It got me thinking that it would look pretty cool to have the front and backs made from stainless.
