Scarab III X dimension
 

I am in the process of redoing the transom of my boat and i was thinking about bumping up the X dim on it 2 inches. Its a stock 89 Scarab III. while the motors are out i'm doing a few mods on them as well should be in the 420-430 HP range. Has anybody raised the X dim in one of these and what did it get ya? thanks all :cool:

still got the 525's waiting to go in something :evilb: i just dont think i'll have this boat long enough to justify putting them in. gonna need a 38 or 43 soon :D

i raised mine when i converted to bravo from trs my propshaft is set at 4 1/2 below no problem getting on plane at all.as for speed cant say for sure cause i changed more then 1 thing ,went to bravo removed bottem paint ,and had a slight nook ,before i did that stuff boat went 52 so far going 62 talked to prop people and they said i had the wrong props,they said with the right ones i should see 67 or 68,right now im at 19% prop slip should be at 12%or so,any questions just ask
