Ever had yours on lake Dillon ...:D
Used to live in Breck

That mtn water is too flippin cold!
It's a nice lake but with the elevation of Dillon our boats would run 60mph tops.

How do these boats handle in the ocean anyway? How far from shore can you get out before you say,sh!t better head back! Is there alot more maintence being in salt water?

When I was looking to buy an SCS there were 3 for sale in the entire country and 2 were salt water use.I decided to get the fresh water boat but paid a little more because of that.

Actually on water 3' or less great . We have lots of those days. I never feel unsafe in the boat they are solid as a rock. The only thing I had to get used to was the single engine. I was used to 2 in my bigger boats ... So the trips across to the Bahamas is always with other boats. As far as salt water I flush the boat out for 20 min everytime I go into salt. I do lots of rivers and lakes down here also..

Nope, haven't bought anything just yet . . .

The ad is no longer listed, so either the boat sold, or he didn't relist . . .

Prostreeter 05-08-2007 06:03 AM

For the price he was asking it probably sold. These are pretty rare boats and with a 502 even more difficult.Keep looking though.

It's back up for sale. Do you have any idea on production numbers and years produced?

Called him and left a message. It's between this boat and a Baja 202 Islander.

Both have pros and cons, the Baja is an open bow which is nice, this boat has a lot more potential though.

Thoughts?
