Once again, trying to expand my choice of a new boat. 28 Excels are getting harder to find so may take a look at 29's. Thinking like a 94 or 95 with a single. Hey, 5 years newer than the Excel so that can't be a bad thing.

how soon are you looking to buy. i have thought about selling mine. my problem is its just an awesome boat and will probobly cost me twice as much to replace. its an 87 excel.

looking to buy relatively soon. My boat is up for sale so once it goes I'll be without a boat and we can't have that. What ever boat I get I plan on using the winter to fix it up the way I want it.

Been looking now for a good month, not in a HUGE hurry, but at the same time as soon as I find the boat that right for me I'm getting it. Already looked at 4 boats so far but each one had some issues.

Here's mine. It's a 96' with a 509" and a whipple:D It's not the fastest, but it rocks in the rough stuff.

My 94 w / twins. Though stock have refitted her over the past couple years. New interior , including making a new rear bench to replace the rotten wood under the upholstry. New merc longblocks ( can't beat the warranty) transoms and drives. Ready for another 13 years!!! Have some better shots @ work , I'll get them up later.

Ferraristyle, I would get the 29'. I always loved the lines on the 29' and to me they look more modern than the Excel. I looked at a P-29 before I bought my '31 a few years ago. It was a little bit out of my price range at the time . BTW I bid on two of your e-bay auctions (espritmike)last night. What a coincidence .Good Luck- Mike

She's a single 29 with a fresh refit. 509 supercharged with all the goodies. Thinking of selling to move up, but haven't made up my mind yet.

That's one advantage of dealing with dealing with hurricanes duringthe summer:rolleyes:, we only have about a month or two where the weekends are too cold to boat, and we still go out:cool-smiley-027:

I love my 29 but it need to go to a good home soon. I have no need for 2 Ga-Fast boats, so i'll sell this one a get a Fly Bridge weekend play barge.

If your going after 1 look for twins with the Bravo's.

Rick what year is your 29? Ihave abuddy looking for a 29 but I'm not sure if wants twins or a single.

Mine's up for sale. 94 29 350 mags, under warranty til march 08. New alpha counters and gimbals , new mercruiser factory rebuilt long blocks spring 06. New cockpit interior spring 07 . Just made a new sunbrella cockpit canvas last month. Full winter cover. Alum tandem load rite trailer. Sony head ,xm sat radio, lcd display remote at helm, 2 sony subs , memphis amp , clarion separates. Garmin gps , vhf , new porta potty. Bought battery charger but haven't installed yet. Agreed insurance value @ 55000. Asking 32,000. Pics in above post !!!!
