20 degree deadrise and 3200 lbs for a Scarab 22. In the rough, if you trim it down it does pretty well. Trim it up at all and you could take a pounding.

its the old school 20 Out Law. That boat is in immaculate shape. The guy is out of Georgia and I think he is negotiable on the price.

I owned a 22 Scarab and loved the boat, but it had the old-style plywood floor with glued-down carpet over it. Depending on how many times that got wet through the years, you could end up with soft spots in the wood and possibly have to replace the floor. The 20 Outlaw, on the other hand, if I'm not mistaken, should be built with a fiberglass liner that's integral to the deck. And fiberglass can handle getting wet better than wood. Finally, with a newer EFI motor, it should be more hassle free. You're right about both being about the same length on the water.

Hope this helps.

I SURE AM GLAD MY SCARAB DOES NOT HAVE A WOOD FLOOR.

I've had both, I liked my Scarab the best. They both will fly in the rough but the Scarab flew more level. The Baja flew bow high which will scare the sh*t out of you. The Scarab looks sleeker too.
