Thinking About Purchasing A 29' Scarab.....

I'm considering buying one if I can fine one for a reasonable price. I'd prefer a 96+ w/350mpi's, bravo drives. If it needs mechanical work(needs engine(s) or engine repair, even some minor cosmetic work, that's fine. Thanks in advance.

when you find one take a good look at the bulk head area and the transom ,,take a knife and see if the wood is soft in those areas they are prone to have problems there ,,it might look fine but you must check it ,other than that a very nice ride,i miss mine

Just be sure to have a survey done from a reputable company. I know one guy who bought a P29 and the transom was so soft the K-Plane bolts just pulled right threw the transom while running at speed.
