Sad really - beautiful boat but too much money for old technology.
|
it'll sell for sure...nicer then some 05's, 06's and 07's i've seen...he has an offer on the table right now in the low 90's he's entertaining

I can't help to think the market on $200K-$400K go fast boats isn't hurting. Sure new technology is nice but for an additional $200K? For $90K a guy could have a blast in this boat. Great value and practical.

I feel the same way! However there are always the guy who wants new. I am glad to buy used, its paid for....and it was a deal compared to 400K+ |
The thing is, paying 390k for ,say,a new 382 Fastec Formula doesn't guarantee NO PROBLEMS. Great boat ,yeah, trouble free hmmmmm. Then 2 years later its worth 295k, 6 years later 160k,Damn,thats hard to swallow. I only lost 30k on my 1993 Scarab in 6 years of ownership and was complaining. Point is,I feel, buy what you want. The feeling you missed out or watching the boat you really wanted drive by, to me, hurts more than a payment you can afford. You only live once....Enjoy, you can't take it with you. Mike

I honestly hope he sells it near his asking price. It means there's hope for us all who own old boats. Good luck!!
