Mercury 330HP, 454C.I 7.4LTR
 

Dear sirs,
I am planin to buy a 1984 Wellcraft Scarab 38 with Twin Mercury 330HP, 454C.I, 7.4LTR Engines with Mercury TRS Drives and Borg Warner Transmission.
Which is the fuel consuption galons per mile;
Can i keep it with that engines or i must change it asap,
they have 800 hours on it and they works .
They rebuilt onces propably at the 400 hours
What other i must note,
Can i find spares for that engines;

I had one of those engines in my 22 Scarab. It burnt about 30 GPH at WOT. A pair of those in an older big Scarab certainly wont light the water on fire, but they are a very reliable engine.
