I've been on Kinzie's 26cv, rides good and handles great! I think you will like the 26cv- - Good Luck!

Had one for 8 years, ran the chit out it with 500hp = 75mph. It really liked a Hydromotive 4 blade prop. Great boat functionally , really great, but marginal quality so have it surveyed. Mine started falling apart and would take on water from an unknown place. Also, they came with a wedge built into the last foot of the pad so have that taken out and the boat runs really well. Good luck, be safe.

no, I actually passed on the boat. it looked good and sounded good, but just just didn't feel comfortable driving it and didn't get the performance that I thought I would.

Scarab CV in Austin
I own the Scarab here in Austin, remember Lil Zeke (John) when you asked if that was full throttle? I said no, we were only going 3800rpm's, but I wasn't prepared to really hammer her down since I just finished with the Camshaft upgrade and head work, i wanted a little more run time. I appreciate that you didn't hammer it too hard either. She will definitely jump to 60mph + in a heartbeat when full throttled... I haven't ran her too much past 65mph with the prop that's on it.
The boat is for still for sell, I kind of screwed up the Ebay auction by telling the gentleman in DC that I had a deal working here in Austin. But no problems or worries, I will relist it again. Thanks for coming out.. You can see some pictures at this link, just click on 1991 Scarab CV: http://s201.photobucket.com/albums/a...tinsBodyworks/ Jeff |
