The boat was originally built with 525sc's that the previous owner kept to put in his replacement boat. I bought a pair of 575sci's w/ superchillers, from and rebuilt by, Derberry (arrgh!). They were dynoed at 650 hp and 701 tq. I had to reroute the fuel system and run transfer pumps from the 3 auxillary fuel tanks (1-50 gal. 2-23 gal.) to the main tank and a return line from each motor back to the main fuel tank because of the aeromotive fuel pump setup. Here are some pics. I bounces right up against 80 mph but has a lot of pull with the torque .
Sweet!! Nice job set'n it up. |
