I have a 29 and love it. I do have it for sale because I bought a biger boat. but for that size boats I dont think you will find a better ride or quality. If I can help call @ 281-326-4800

I owned a single engine 29 for 11 years. You won't find a better riding boat of it's size in the rough. I've ridden in most of the boats you've listed. You need to figure out if you want twins or a single. It will make a difference in the ride with the wieght difference, but I still think the 29 scarab is bar none a great boat. I'm sure you will get some better input from the guys one the board.

Your financial situation will determine if you can handle the maintenance and repairs of a twin over a single. I owned a single due to my traveling and the boat sitting up at times. It was easier to get back in the water for me. It's all up to you. Good luck with what ever your choice is. You have picked some great boats!!

The only boat you've listed that will even come close to the rough water ride of the 29 scarab will be the 30'outlaw but with that boat your gonna have twin big blocks which will up your maintenace cost, plus the boat is a full foot wider. That makes a big differance and why the 29 scarab will leave most boats behind when it gets rough. It all depends on what you are looking for(speed?,cockpit room?overall performance?), I don't think you will find any scarab owners who didn't love these boats. Although I must say all would end upbeing good boats.
