Ant thought any help would be great Thanks.... |
I have the same problem getting on plane but once it is up and running it seems to be fine . Running 1 inch shorty 30 props & 750 hp each . I to would like to fix this problem .

Thanks Jeff , But I only have a single. And the boat runs very well with some of my fat friends in the back seat. So would that mean that I need a spacer in there? And a bravo 1 for now. imco xr drive next month.
THOUGHTS ???? |
I had a 29 single engine with 820hp with a 1 inch shorty and had no problem getting on plane with a 26 bravo one spinning 5800 rpm what are turning rpm wise?
|
I have only spun the motor up to 5200 and the prop slipage is horable. What was your prop slipage ? And was that a 3 or 4 blade prop ? And thank you for responding:cool :

I don't have a scarab and i don't have a bravo,,,,,,but from what i know u need to go up not deeper in the water with a single if slip is to high.
Whats the RPM and MPH your runnig and what gear ratio ? |
4200 rpms @ 56 mph with a 30 pitch prop. the propellar lifts the rear of the boat when hose power is being produced.
