Pictures of outboard Scarabs
 

I just received the latest issue of Boating and the inside back cover has a retrospect article of Mike Reagan's triple outboard 38. Does anyone on here have a outboard powered 38 Scarab? I have seen a 34 Scarab Raider for sale before and a outboard powered Scarab I, but never seen a 38. Post some pictures of them if you have some.

I had a whole bunch here but somehow they dissapeared. I will post some more. Mine is an SS though, just a little ol fishing boat..

I operated that 38 Kevlar, triple outboard, Larry Smith built, Mike reagan raced boat for years..
The navy bought it a long time ago for some project work(still classified).. I got pictures, posters, i think i still have a few hats even from when Mike was racing it..
It had triple 300 evinrudes.. I took them off and put on 3, 225 johnsons..added two bladders up front and remote controls.

Great boat.. I could do 60mph in a sea state 3 for hours.. This is not a lie..

I've been waiting for one of those posters for 4 years now.. :)

I had a video that mike J gave me a long time ago. Let me see if I still have the stuff..
