Here comes another SCARAB rebuild!

Good Luck Steve, Still rebuilding my 84 30' S-type, I have learned a lot, let me know if you have any questions!

stevekyp 04-15-2009 09:14 PM

Thank you very much.
will be asking a lot of questions on my biuld.
by the way you guys do grafixs.
look at my boat in the pics and tell me a ballpark idea what it would cost to wrap the boat sides and some on the flat deck?:drink:

502ss 04-16-2009 05:53 AM

Steve,

Without knowing the actual dimesnions of the boat where the decal would be applied it is tough to estimate. Measure the square footage of where the graphic will go and multiply by around $22 per square foot. This price would not include design costs. What you will find is that you are still looking at 1/3 of the cost of paint and when you get tired of it you can tear it off and replace it!

Thanks
Jim

OK
Once i finish the glass work, i will contact you and we can talk about some good grafixs!
Thanks for the reply!:drink:

stevekyp 12-23-2013 04:37 PM

I went through a family crisis, but now everything is ok with me. The condition of my boat is at the new transom stage.Perfect candidate for a restoration. If you pm me your number I can send you a lot of pics!!! I only will be able to here once I up grade my membership.thanks

Sorry to hear, looked like it would have been a fun resto!

stevekyp 12-27-2013 10:05 AM

Just sold it,the day after Christmas This 70 year old man that restores boats. I am lucky because it is difficult to sell a hull that needs glass work! Anyway one day I will find something like it that has big blocks instead of outboards! My first choice would be a 38 top gun but beggers cant be chosers Thanks fellas for your support!!!:santa:
