22 blower issues
 

anybody ever put a blower in a 22 scarab. haven 2 cut bulk head 4 blower pully. not wantn 2.

havent done it, but i know that i thought about doing to my 23 and it would definitly need to be cut

i had a 600 hp 502 in it last it would run 85 on gps. bought this blower motor aint got it in yet. haven 2 do some cutn. let u know. wont b long,

How Do Thoes 22s Ride At 85 Mph?

I have a friend that put a 177 blower in his 22 scarab. It's a 525 sc motor. He did not have to cut anything in the boat other than a hole in the sun deck for the air cleaner.

my scarab had a blower on it a 177 merc branded weiand, the bulkhead was chipped out and rotten when i got it, but the new bulkhead i put in was scalloped for clearance, also the bench came forward a inch or so for the snout pulley room, of course the hatch i re made was also longer, burned up two motors with that little blower sold that pos. When cutting that bulk head Be VERY CAREFUL not to cut into the gas tank, its right next to the bulkhead on mine

had a little chine walk but not bad i think good steering would fix problem, got a friend with same boat n same motor
