Trim Tabs for 28 Excel
 

Hi,´

i think about Trim Tabs for my 28 Excel.
I know that Tabs are normaly bolted thru the hull but the 28 Excel is closed inside where some off the screws should come into the engine room.
A friend told me, his boat is also closed but have a hole on each side just big enough to get in.
Do other Scarab 28 Excel have a hole there ?
If not, do you guy`s, who have Tabs, drilled a hole into that "cornerbox" to get in ?

I have a 28 exel also Hans, If you are going to use the bolt thru trim tabs you will have to cut holes in the outer boxes close to the transom. If you make them round you can put inspection covers over the holes. Mine still has the smaller screw in style in it. I havent had any problems with them. Actually...I rarely use them anyway. Bill
