1990 Nova ST Fuel Tank
 

Does anyone know what the fuel tank is made out of in this model boat?

Mine is in the shop since 8/15 getting her engines put back in so I can't take a look now; I took a quick peak through the two access plates but not a good enough one to identify the metal.

Are you getting fuel contamination or something bad?

On mine there is a round deck hatch between the front two seats where you can access the fuel fill and vent fittings on the tank and another when you lift up the back seat where you can access the fuel pickup fittings. There was no foam in either location on mine so you were looking at the metal top of the tank.

My older 26 Nova has a Aluminum fuel tank. Either 104 or 109 gallons, I don't remember exactly what the sticker said now.
