I have been the Procharger route. I would recommend Whipple. It is a more complete, better system IMO.

procharger

didn't really want to mod. the sun pad to fit blowers on top of motors is that where whipples would go??

Yes, Whipples go on top however they are fairly low profile. If you call Whipple they will tell exactly how much additional height you need for clearance. Oh yeah, thats another reason, the customer service is a lot better than ATI. At the least the way ATI used to be. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that it has gotten better.

I did prochargers on my 98 350mpi's and was very happy with them.
I bought them from a place in the north east. I think they have an add on here somewhere. They were great to deal with.

Go with the Whipples. If the hatch closes with the engines now it should with the whipples too.. Its about the same height as a stock engine with it's shroud on.. The whipple is much more precise than the procharger too.. The prochargers were ok on the older more primative efi stuff, but they have not keep up to date on the newer stuff.. I have been doing both systems for quite a long time.. If you want a price on whipple feel free to call me.. ;) Jamie / Lakeside 570-639-2628
