90 Wellcraft Excalibur Phantom
 

hey guys. i was wondering if anyone can give me a little history on my boat. Its a 1990 Wellcraft Excalibur Phantom. i know these boats where not made for long, maybe a year or two. The guy i bought it off of was the original owner, the only modifications he made to the boat were through hull exhaust and bottom paint ( which i am in the process of removing). I would like some info on the boat since searching the internet hasnt yielded much luck. I bevile the Hull is the same as a scarab 1? This will be my second season with the boat and I love it. i will probably go bigger within the next couple years, but for now my goals are to fix the slop in the steering, and a 454 swap. any help will be appreciated. thanks

Dont know anything about it but it's neat looking boat. Kinda looks like something out of a batman movie.

Thanks. I actually get that alot. When people see me at the cove, they call it the " Bat Boat". im just trying to figure out how long wellcraft made them, and what the hull is based from. i have heard its mearly just a scarab 1 hull with a excalibur phantom top deck. i dont know, but i like it was well.

Looks like you need a "steady cam":drink: Next time give the cam to your buddy in the 31. I will keep an eye out for you in F-Cove this summer.

haha. i left the camera work to the girlfriend. she did the best she could while trying to hang on.
