Nova Iii

I am looking at an 1987 Nova III. I am looking for some feedback good or bad. It has 350 mags with 320 hours original. Has any one had wheel time in this boat?

Good boat, rides well for it's size and age. Expect about 60 with those motors. Have the stringers checked very carefully-Wellcrafts that old have rot problems near the transom.

i have heard the novas don't have a true "offshore" hull. They won't handle as well as a scarab if the water gets snotty. Not sure why but thats what i've heard.

I have been warned about the rot problem from others aswell. I'm not sure I would want to deal with that posibility.
