I knew of a similar set up wtih a left handed labbed 27p hydromotive which ran really well

just an update, i got the boat and tried on a Bravo one 4 blade 26 pitch. three 100+ kg guys in the boat, full tank (100 gallons, 375 litres) the boat mad 60 knots very easy.
since this was the first run, i did not want to put to much pressure on the engine. i belive i will be able to squeeze a couple of more knopt out of her later this summer :-) |
Kilos....Knots...Litres...Where's my damn calculator when I need it!
Just kidding. Glad to hear you had a good first run. |
Help me with my Prop
I have a 23 scarab scs with close to 600hp and need help with a prop. I was running a 26 4 blade that was labbed and at 80mph was at 6000 RPM. Last weekend I bent the prop past repair. Just wanting some feedback if I sould pitch up to a 28 or 30 and since it is a left hand drive boat it a left hand rotation prop would be a better choice?
