WHATS A 97 SCS WORTH with no motor
 

hey, im looking at a 1997 scarab scs for sale with no motor, every thing is there except for the bbc short block, including procharger, what would be a fair price for this boat with no motor, its in pretty good condition.

Is it white or orange? Anyhow I would say realistically a 23' is worth about $22-28k at best. A good long block is about $6k and about $2000 for install. Minus a couple grand for inconvenience (I.e. Your not buying a running boat), I would say $10-12k would be a good offer.

I would say $8000ish......including trailer.......you are looking at $10,000 - $15,000 to power it and get it running and you then have a $18,000 - $23,000+ boat......which is about what a nice one sells for......do you have any pics of the boat?

thanks for your help guys, I paid 11000 for it, idk i think i got a pretty good deal, boat had m1 procharger, imco exhaust, poorly built 540 needs some pistons, bored 30, and some heads and i should be good to go.
