1988 28 excel
 

hi im new here found the site surfing love it! just purchased a 1988 scarab excel 28' pervius boat was a 1991 26' profile with a 502 hp like the scarab much better. Does anyone know if the windsheild fairing for a newer p-29 fit on my 1988 28' excel? boats look to be same:confused:

Welcome. I have no idea if the windseceen will fit, but i think it wolud be a cool upgrade. i have a 91 28' scarab xlt. post a pic of your boat so we can see it.

I also have a 1988 28ft Scarab Excel with a hopped up 502.
This will be my second season with this boat and I am very happy with it.
Good thought on the winshield! I fabricated a pair of high quality plexiglass wind screens that have worked out great. They stand about 51/2" tall and deflect the wind just enough.
If you are interested in dulicating them I can take a couple of close up shots with the digital camera and e-mail the pictures to you along with the detail of how I installed them.
