38 AVS project
 

Pulled the Scarab out of the barn to start things going on this project. The more I look at this, the more I think about feeding this monster. Maybe I should install a pair of V-6 engines and idle to the cove...

how much are you looking for the way she sits?

Asking $29k, includes some of the parts I've gathered for it.

how fast is a 38avs w/ 500efi's, 575's ect.

a friend of mines 38avs runs 79-80 with 500's, 575's a guess would be 84-86.

Talked to a friend with a good camera to take some shots inside & out. I'll post em as soon as I get em.

Looks pretty salty to me, clean not so much.

How can you see "pretty salty" from a picture?
We pulled the boat out and sprayed it off, then had a couple of guys look at it before we did any real cleaning. since then I sprayed down the outside while Jeanette spent some time cleaning up the cockpit & cabin. personally I think it looks pretty good, but feel free to come check it out for yourself.

pics of bilge, hardware is either green or rust take a closer look, still would'nt stop me from bying.

The Scarab will make a great boat for someone, it;s just more than my Abby-Normal brain can focus on at this time.
