Nothing yet ?

Ok. Got the call today. Good news.

They pressurized both tanks, which held for two days. As they released the clamp on fuel hose towwards engines, the pressure pushed fuel out the water separators. So, we are replacing both water separators. Assuming this solves the problem, and it should, have dodged a huge expense.

Should know soon.

Good for you, it's not everyday that you get good news when it comes to a boat repair bill

Thank you. And in typical American fashion, I decided to use some of what I would have spent to fix other items on the boat. Hope to be on water next weekend.

They are changing the fuel separators today. Once comeplted, they plan to pressurize the tanks again to ensure they didn't miss any other leaks. Then they will slowly allow the pressure to hit the spearators and make sure they don't leak. We will move on to some other items once we are sure the fuel system is sealed.

Thinking about not only rpelacing all the canvas and some torn front seats, but adding blue underwater LED lights.

Final results are in. It appears I completely lucked out. They replaced the separators then pressurized the system for a day. All sealed. No need to rip boat apart and replace tanks. . . at least at thsi point.

They are going to replace some broken latches, install a sweet blue underwater LED system and acid wash the hull. Canvas guy comes next week to replace both tops and make it fairly water tight.

Hopefully, this is a good sign of things to come.
