There were several versions of the Citgo Scarab which was/were campaigned by Nigel Hook The 1st was a 37 built in 1995-6 as I recall and it had a very narrow beam of something like 6'6". Under Citgo sponsorship it garnered several APBA "B" class championship titles. After that it was campaigned in "Super V". Around 99 or 2000 a 43 Citgo Scarab was built. In 2001 as I recall it became the Conseco/Lucas Oil boat. After that boat Nigel Hook moved to a Skater V I believe.
Thats all I got. |
If you really wanted all the details there is a contact at nigelhook.com that can help. Can probably tell you where the boat is now....
Think her name is Janet (USA) |
There's one hanging in the Lucas Oil stadium in Indianapolis, IN.

THX guyz ... is this the narrowest staggered twin-engine V-bottom ever made ?

There was the Ocean Spray 38 that was raced for about three years back in the 90's.
