29 Scarab safe top speed?

Twin set up. What speed can it handle and not fell like its out of control with big power? Say poker run average.

Still feel in control ? I'd say 75-ish...80 would be pushing it in my opinion. Also depends on conditions obviously. :drink:

I used to know a guy with a 29 ran 82-85. Said it was solid. I never drove the boat and have not been in it at speed but a few mutual non boating friends have been in it and said it was fine...

Well there you go...somewhere between 75-85 sir. What kind of "big" power are you talking ? If you put enough power in it to make the gelcoat on the bow blister at speed.....your going fast enough. :eekdrop:

I've had mine up to 82 mph with no problems. I should see 85 + this year
