The finish line is getting close!
Mount a few speakers back in, hook up the hatch actuator, buy a couple of batteries and fill her up.
Question on grounding the fuel neck hose, fuel vent hose and tank. Do I ground everything back to the battery? Does the tank need to be grounded for the sender to work?

Looking forward to seeing video of this thing in the water again.

Come a long way!

I've never heard of grounding the filler neck and vents - my sending unit has its own ground but you should also be grounding the tank itself. It depends if your fuel level sensor uses the screws to transfer ground or not, I always feel its best to ground it out directly though. Just one less thing to fail

Found it.

You ground the fill to the tank for static electricity purposes.

Well, after almost 2 years without seeing sunlight, the Panther is out.

Now on to the gas station to put ~35 gallons in her and see if she holds.
Just realized, this is the first time I have had it hooked up to my Duramax. Usually towed it with my 1/2 ton GMC or my 2500 Avalanche.

No leaks, no smell of fuel and she fired right up. All trim switches, and everything works as should, besides the fuel guage. smh...

Took the Panther out today and it ran great. Without the mufflers and dry to the tips, these engines are Rowdy!
Decided to hook up the O2's and check the carb tunes on the new engines. They were dangerously lean! 12.9-15.1 during cruise and mild acceleration. Only area somewhat safe was WFO. Looks like I'm going to change the primary power valve out and throw +4 jets at the primaries.
A few blurry pics for proof, lol.
