22ft scarab steering problem
 

Has anyone experienced steering problems with there 22ft scarab? At low idle my boat doesn't steer for beans. It's a handful to keep it going fairly straight in the 5mph zone or approaching a dock.

Nature of the beast. Mine got somewhat better with full hydraulic steering but not great. I will say that if you can find true center while going straight, it will wander back and forth without you needing to counter steer all the time. The nose of mine will walk 3' or so either side of straight without counter steering. I used to constantly try and correct it in no wake zones but now just let it wander as it will go back and forth on it's own.

Same here. Just wonders side to side at low speeds...

Im having same problem but have noticed my outdrive can wiggle back and forth couple inches looks like my gimbal is wore out were the steering arm conects too.
