1983 Scarab II 30 foot
 

hey guys, looking at trading my 241 liberator for a 30 foot scarab. The guys says it has an electrical issue that the engines will just shut off, lose gauges and all. then you shut the keys off and turn back on and it all works again. any ideas? Also what are the things to look for on this. What are the pros and cons? what is the fuel economy? cruise and max speed? It has 370 horse 454's in it with TRS drives. Im giving up a perfectly good running boat for this, but looking to get a bigger one. Any info will be appreciated alot!!

Im re-doing a '80 scarab-s 30' with stock 7.4 330/and bravos and the research is telling me i'm looking at low-mid 60's
i'm no expert but i'd think you'd be looking at 70mph
