Default 1989 28' Wellcraft Scarab Excel Complete Restoration!

We took this Scarab in on trade this past week and are doing a full restoration on it. I figured I would keep you guys updated on the progress as we go.

Hope you keep the tube grill over the air inlets. Coolest part of the boat. I had bolsters form a newer 29 in mine on cut-down racks. Still a sitdown boat, but looked the part without captains chairs

havent found a pic of the racks, but in pics of the boat from the side, the highest part of the seat is about 4 or 5 inches above the windshield where it wraps around near the seat. Know anyone with a mid90s 29 to measure seat height? always thought the racks were cut down, might have been wrong.(dont tell my wife)

Is the transom wet? or just dirty?

We traded for it on Wednesday afternoon, and he started on it Thursday....... Wet transom is an understatement! He is going to start on it tomorrow.
