The mighty 38 scarab (1990 -2000 models)
 

Good day - wonder if anyone knows the scarab 38 models produced around 1990-2000 years. Looking to get rid of my 31 and get the longer bow :) the Excell years in the later 80 ies the same boat up to the 1997 ? Any differences in the models from 1990 to 2000 ? Other than the obvious step hull in the later years - any years better built ?? Are they all bad for rotting transoms ... I'm looking to buy one in those years and curious if any differences in the years produced... And to see if any might be better build / quality ??
