Offshoreonly.com - 1999 scarab 38 avs BAD A!!!

tonite i went and looked and bought a 1999 scarab 38 avs with pro charged 540's with ext. boxes imco extremes and -2 shorties. boat will run 82 mph at 4300 rpm and 95 at 5000 rpm. I am extremely excited to get out on the water anyone have any experience with this set up?? under 20 hours and just a kick a!! boat. previous owner spent over a 100,000 dollars on motors and drives. merlin blocks and merlin aluum heads, scat rotating assembly. top notch parts thru out. on 10 lbs. of boost motors dynoed at 1300hp a side. bill shoemaker in indy did some custom work on the chargers and took the boost down to 5 lbs. and re dynod at 1000 hp. i spoke to him today and he said his only worry was the drives. they are imco extremes but that is still alot of HP for those drives. any thoughts???????? boat is super cool and fast looking forward to playin with it!!
