what did you do to the engines to make them boat friendly since they are made for street?

Tore down honed cylinders for piston to cylinder wall clearance. Inconel exhaust valves switched to 10 degree locks. 11 quart pan.

Oil bypass spring in filter pad??? 11 psi changed to plugged or 30 psi?
