Yeah any miss haps at the dock or else where, and they scratch right off I've had good luck with three boats now with all paint!

Defiantly look at both and do your research. -29' single or twin engine option, light enough for a decent 1/2 ton to pull and built in swim step but only 4' headroom. -31 twin big block, (gas hog) 8'6" beam 4'6" headroom, need at least 3/4 ton to tow.. I looked at a P-29 in 2001, LOVED the paint design, but couldn't hang with the headroom, so I bought a 31' instead. I liked it but then got the itch for a 38' after riding in a poker run in Chicago in 2005 in my friends Formula 419. So I found my current boat, a perfect mixup of a P-29 and a 38'.
