Its on lift in Cape Coral but has always been in fresh water  :D
Love the cabin in the Excels, mine is stark white. |
Looks clean. Thats the way a 20+ year old boat should look. No excuse for some of these 10 year old boats out there that are growing mold.
+1 on the freshwater comment. You have gotta love the lines on that boat. |

Im in California. The freshwater claim jumped out at me too. But in defense of a brother OSO member, maybe the Caloosahatchee keeps the saltwater at bay? He has great taste in boats!!
Being from northern California near the Delta region of water that flows out to San Francisco Bay,...the delta water was not salt, but fresh, even though is would rise and descend with the tides from the ocean 70 miles away. |
For Northern Offshore, please enlighten a west coaster that wants to retire to the Gulf Coast. Why do center consoles with outboards make sense there?. I don't know as I have never been boating in the CC area, only Havasu,, Long Beach, Catalina etc. I never considered a center console but open to opinions.

He covered himself....it's always been in fresh water OR lift kept, meaning it was in fresh water OR in salt water on a lift!!! LOL!

Good one. Very lawyer!! Wish I thought of it. All in fun. Its still a great boat meant for ocean use.
