29 with single 900 to a 1000 hp pro charger motor or how fast have you been with what power and drive

Come on guys I know somebody has a 29 with big power

I have a rond 800hp blower engine, run 80mph with bravo drive standard prop shaft height that is at 7.5 below the hull. Prop is a bravo1 26p lab turn it at 5600-5700rpm.

I have approx. 550hp maybe a little more. My 29 runs 74 pretty consistent. My drive is at stock height. I don't know where this hull starts losing efficiency, I would guess around 75. After that it takes a lot of power to get that 1mph.

Thanks guys i would say a 2 inch shorty and some large k planes would help

Shoot I ment to ask at what rpm's also! Thanks! I have about 550 in mine also and am trying different props now, I'm running 70 with a 23 mirage at 5400! And not sure if I should stick with the 3 blade or go to a 4? Want to go fast but also want it to Handle well! Thanks for the help!

Mine work wey better with 4 blade! as well for speed also!
