38" AVS Transom "Notch"
 

After looking at "dozens" of pictures of these boats I have noticed that some of the pics have a transom notch in them. I just looked at pic of a 2001 and it did not. So, based on that, am I correct in assuming that the 2002 was the only year 38' AVS that had the notch? And if so what effect does it have on the performance. (I'll save the detail changes of the 38' Scarab for a later date-there are many). Thanks, Mike

Sorry, just found a 2001 for sale in Havasu with a notch. But the "other" 2001 may have the wrong year listed. I've seen that a lot.
