Winston finished up with the repairs on the boat and the trailer. There was a place on the bottom of the right side that was scraped up from falling off the end of a boat ramp last year we also fixed.
Also on the trailer we replaced the braking unit with a new one. Just about everything on the trailer is new. We put the boat back on the trailer yesterday. I like the way it fits the new bunk in the front now…

We will all understand if you start crying the first time you get caught in the rain with that trailer! I would...

Thanks guys. Helmwurst, it gets dipped in the muddy coosa river on a regular basis, but we do wash it. It won't be seeing salt water though. We'll have to have it picked up off the trailer by a forklift or hoist on those trips.

Can you explain the "brakeRite" system?,....does it have to be in conjunction with a specific electric brake system?....or any electric brakes?......You'd have a great youtube future... "Bad Heath" .....get the camera rolling!

It's a regular electric brake system. Requires a brake controller in your truck. I've got one here but haven't installed it yet in my old 97 F350. Shon already had one installed in his 2014 F250 so he tried it out. Worked great. Bleeding the brakes with a 20ft. long main brake line went faster than I though it would. We have disc brakes on the front two axles which I'm looking forward to using. As far as a youtube channel, LOL! First, I'm country as crap and can hardly stand to hear myself talk, secondly where would I get the time!? :)

Still working on upholstery. We went ahead and tested the 18X35 mercury props today. it gets up easy, and we could push it to 5k rpm. Surprisingly we weren’t in the nineties, must not have been trimmed right. We had our hands full watching water pressure and water and oil temps. We might run it again some tomorrow

Not too bad for a hull that was designed nearly 50 years ago!

I hope you don’t have to navigate too much debris in the water…. :)
