Thanks Mike, yes Phragle that's the plan. I can see why they went to the later straighter stripe on the MV edition boats. It's easier to pull the tape, the upper stripe just follows the hull line and the lower isn't near as extreme a bend. Makes more sense the other way in a production atmosphere.

Just an FYI, in the last few photos it may suggest I just filled the holes in with filler, they were glassed in, just didn't take photos of that. Not cutting corners. 👌

Nice job again! Bilge are often finished on the rough side... yours will look nice and well finished. I really like the look of the gelcoat finished liner some boats have... i know it is harder to clean what could be stuck in between... but yours will have the look without the sandwich problem !:)

Still working the engine room. Broke down the k planes, blasted some corrosion, getting them ready to paint. Finally got a part painted today. The fairing is the first part painted 4 years after I brought it home. We put an additive in the clear to make it not quite glossy, but more eggshell...

Thanks guys. The shops been slowing down because of the covid 19 situation. I ordered some balsa to core the the bottom of the engine room with instead of adding ribs to the bottom. (Thanks again Dan McNamara fur the idea).
I was able to get Michael helping me today and we got a lot done block sanding the deck. I hope to get urethane primer on the deck late next week. Guys there’s a lot of work involved in block sanding something this size. 😀
