Good to hear You're up and about Heath. I'm of zero use to give You shop advice, but I do want to emphasize the importance to really rest up after Your type of operation. I bet You don't want to re-do it? Wish You a great recovery.

Thanks guys, I’m taking it slow. Felt pretty good til today. Feels like the sacks in a vice. In other news, one of my valve covers didn’t have the right threads for the oil fill, Trent fixed it up. Material is coming in for the arch fabrication. Billys prepping the motors for paint...

Colors are getting closer. Painted the valve colors the purple color. Blocks are gonna be teal. It’s an acquired taste. 😀

Back in high school I ran a "backyard" body shop with a couple friends. I painted a guys mustang those colours. The car was teal with the purple/pink as scallops on the nose. I didn't love it but his girlfriend sure did and you could see the car a mile away. Thanks for the flashback!
Keep the progress pics coming!

I was thinking, with all the work blending the colors on the sides of the boat, you could use the valve covers for blending practice...?

Looks better than it sounded. A black distributor cap and plug wires might better compliment the paint scheme.
