302 Sport redo

For any 302 owners out there, what have you don't to update and or fix your soft floor issues? I am in the first stages at looking to buy a 1990 302 that is going through restoration. I am going to look at it next week and would like advice on what to look for. Any advice/input and is welcome,

make sure you check the floor, just tore my out and redid center section and reinforced sides
